Biography

Monica del Norte (born as Deivi Org, on 21th of August, 1970 in Tartu) is Estonian artist and social character. She was born into family with long history filled with artists and poets - longing for beauty runs in her blood as representer Estonian intellectual aristocracy. Throughout her long creative period she has always searched for connections between human psyche and surrounding landscapes and cultural scenes. As nature is the basis of cultural heritage, she feels utmost concern about our planet´s environmental crisis and tries to remind us the importance of our forests and other biospheres. Is it possible to remind people what´s really important and could beauty possibly save the world? Could we drag out from our darkest corners of the soul all self-destructive behaviours and light  up the space inside and outside of us? She is passionate about connecting people with the transformative power of art.
